Privacy Policy

Who we are. CalmWatt (calmwatt.com) is an independent publication. Contact: editorial@calmwatt.com.

What we collect. We use analytics to understand which pages are read and how people arrive. This produces aggregate information — pages viewed, approximate region, referring source, device type. We do not ask for or store names, addresses, or payment details, and we do not run accounts or logins for readers.

Cookies. Analytics and affiliate programmes set cookies. Affiliate cookies record that a visit came from this site so that a commission can be attributed if a purchase follows. You can block or delete cookies in your browser; the site works without them.

Affiliate partners. When you follow an affiliate link, the destination retailer’s own privacy policy governs what happens next. We do not receive your personal purchase details — commission reports show aggregate activity, not identifiable customers.

Comments and email. If you email us, we keep the message so that we can reply and so that a reported correction can be traced. We do not add correspondents to marketing lists, because we do not run one.

Your choices. You can browse without cookies, use tracking protection, and ask us what we hold. Where applicable law gives you access or deletion rights, contact us and we will act on the request.

Children. This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes. If this policy changes materially, the updated date on this page will change.

This page describes our practices in plain language. It is not legal advice.
